Onecoin wanted to provide a safe and intuitive way for users to trade cryptocurrency and fiat while managing everyday financial tasks. I led the product design work, shaping the user experience with a mobile-first strategy, clear user flows, and a consistent visual system that built trust and accessibility from the start.
Designing Trust Into a New Crypto Platform
The crypto market is full of platforms that confuse or overwhelm new users and raise concerns about scams. Onecoin needed to solve three critical problems:

Onboarding first-time users with confidence
Handling incomplete transactions and payment issues without losing user trust
How do we design a platform that feels trustworthy and simple enough for first-time traders, yet powerful enough for experienced users?

Clear Flows, Robust Support, and a Consistent Design System
To address trust and usability challenges, I designed Onecoin with:
A transparent transaction confirmation system that only releases assets after full verification
Guided onboarding with tutorials for first-time traders
In-app peer to peer chat and 24/7 support for quick issue resolution
Defined user personas and mapped task flows to reduce friction across buying, selling, funding, and withdrawals
A style guide covering typography, color, and iconography to keep the experience consistent and credible
